Description
The AAFA – Music Concentration at Yavapai College offers foundational music education, including theory, piano, and ensemble performance. Designed for transfer to a four-year program, it blends general education with specialized training, nurturing creativity, technical skill, and cultural understanding for careers in performance, teaching, or music composition.
Note: Students preparing to transfer to an upper-division baccalaureate degree program should contact an advisor in the major field of study at the transfer institution in addition to meeting regularly with a faculty advisor and/or an academic advisor at Yavapai College.
