Peace poles are the most recognized monument dedicated to peace on earth. The international Peace Pole movement began in Japan by Masahisa Goi (1916 – 1980) who dedicated his life to spreading the message, May Peace Prevail On Earth. Peace poles represent the highest aspirations of peace and goodwill inherent in the human heart transcending race, religion and creed, serving as vehicles to carry the message out to every corner on earth.
