Adjunct Professor of Voice
Dramatic Mezzo-Soprano, Danielle Corella is a 7th generation Arizona native. Most recently she performed in the Arizona Opera’s “Beyond Downtown” production of Coyotes and Rabbits and Roméo et Juliette as Gertrude. She has also toured around Arizona in the production of Beauty and the Beast as Belle with the Arizona Opera Arlyn M. Brewster OperaTunity Program. In 2019, Corella debuted with Opera Santa Barbara as Madame Larina in Eugene Onegin. While in California, she was an Education Artist at Long Beach Opera where she regularly performed in Monkey See, Monkey Doand The Playground King in the Long Beach area. In 2018, she performed in the west coast premiere of Le Vin herbe with Long Beach Opera. Most recently, she teaches voice at Yavapai College, and enjoys watching her students progress and find their true voices. Corella holds a Master of Music from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Music from Westminster Choir College.
