Woodturning

My primary inspiration comes from Native American and Asian pottery and the natural elements around us provided by Mother Nature. I use salvaged wood from arborists and woods destined for the fire place or dump. All of my designs are one of a kind in which I try to achieve the follow with each piece.

· Designs in traditional pieces that stimulate feelings and memories

· Designs that visually please the eye and provokes the question of how was that done

· Pieces that are tactile and make you want to reach out and feel the wood provided by Mother Nature

· Pieces that will provide you as much pleasure in ownership as I received in making them
