The Girl and the Shedding Fox is a collaborative hybrid installation of visual artworks around a narrative. This project began in 2015 when Lisa Sanders sent Sandra Hunter a painting of a creature with furry ears and sad eyes. She painted it on Japanese paper, that looked like the creature was shedding. Thus, the tale of the Girl and the Shedding Fox was born! For the next year and a half the two artists exchanged prose and artwork as the narrative grew.
